Wastach Roller Derby Takes the WIN!
Wasatch Roller Derby (WRD) won their first interleague bout in Greeley, CO. Slaughterhouse Derby Girls (SDG) hosted WRD June 27th, at the Kill Floor. Secondary to injuries and travel conflicts, WRD brought a roster of only 9 skaters to this bout along with officials and a few die-hard fans. Slaughterhouse has a roster of 14 girls. Final score: WRD 129 vs. Slaughterhouse 114. Wasatch Roller Derby?s next bout is July 25th, 2 pm at Trailside Park in Park City, UT. This will be a Black and White picnic scrimmage for any roller derby girls who are interested in coming and playing with us. As always, WRD will be playing for charity and 40% of the proceeds will be donated to Friends of Animals. In addition, Hoppers will be selling food and beer. Come join us for a exciting afternoon of roller derby action. Go to www.wasatchrollerderby.com for more information and to purchase tickets.
