This February, I interviewed Scotty Lee — a comedian who's name was becoming increasingly more recognizable in the local comedy scene. The article I wrote also received some of the most stinging comments from anonymous posters I've ever seen on our Web site, many of which alleged pedophilia and even rape. So why am I bringing up all this dirt?

Today, I've recieved e-mails from all three aforementioned "other" comedians regarding the recent news that Lee is wanted on felony charges for possession of child pornography. An article by Carlos Mayorga for www.standard.net details how Lee allegedly skipped his scheduled gig in Ogden last Friday to avoid arrest by the Layton police.

Lee's history is just as questionable. The Standard-Examiner article states that this March — a month after I interviewed him — the now on-the-run comic plead guilty to two felony charges of sexual battery in Salt Lake County. There are also allegations that he had sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl last year.
I wonder what his fiancé thinks about all this? When I spoke to him last, he was engaged to be married.
