What do you think of your new title, "Sexiest Woman in SLC?" I am honored to have received the title of Sexiest Woman in SLC for 2009!

How is it going to affect your life from now on? I am unsure how being IN's Sexiest in SLC woman for 2009 will affect my life until time passes by. I guess that'll be part of the anticipation of the title. Maybe I'll be grocery shopping in my gym clothes and sign an autograph for an elderly man who recognizes me or maybe I'll be at the mall and a group of pre-teens will point and laugh at me because I constantly fail to keep up with clothing fashion trends.

Why do you think you beat out everyone else? I have a lot of Internet friends and a supportive family who became professionals when it comes to voting for me online since I spent most of 2008 rallying votes for my Maxim Magazine Hometown Hotties competition. I had to compete against 30,000 women to make the Nation's Top 10, so that required a ton of promotion and voting! When I made them aware of my nomination for IN, I think they knew the drill pretty well and they got the job done! Plus IN did a wonderful job promoting abroad for state-wide exposure! Special thanks to my Internet and motorcycle forum friends!

What was going through your head as you were waiting for us to announce the winners? I was nervous, to be quite honest. I do not usually go to clubs or bars since I don't drink or dance. It was only my third time being in a club. The crowd noise, the bright lights and the fact that I felt completely out of place... well, that made for a wonderful new experience. I did not even realize Amanda had announced my name until a gorgeous brunette was placing a crown and sash on me.

What was your strategy on the Sexy campaign trail? Like most things in my life, my only strategy is dedication and a positive attitude. It's not about winning or losing, it's about what you make of the opportunities at hand. I am into numerous competitive hobbies and competitions and I've quickly learned whether you win or lose it should make no difference as long as your mindset was positive and you dedicated yourself to your full potential. Life is what you make it, so I try and take every opportunity and make it the best I can.

Did you get any haters on the way, or even now that you've won? I have my fair share of haters here and there, but I try and remember, "A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her." -- David Brinkley. Or as my boyfriend has always told me, "If people don't have something criticizing to say, you're not trying hard enough."

How would you describe your type of sexiness? It's a mysterious sexy. People have a hard time reading me. I consider my type of sexiness a passionate sexiness because I dedicate myself to the interests in my life, which include education, racing streetbikes, jumping horses and managing my clothing line, Revv Wear.com. I think my personality and interests make up my sexiness type and any physical features people find attractive I consider a bonus from my genes. As my mother always said, "Looks only last so long but the souls we are inside last forever."

Is there anything you'd change about your original Sexy shoot? I would have loved to shoot with my streetbike or my horse or maybe my Great Danes. Wait, who am I kidding? It would have been nice to include them all! Aside from shooting at a tropical location with white sand, chocolate dipped strawberries and bottle nosed dolphins swimming nearby, I would have to say I would not change the studio shoot. I was thankful my boyfriend was willing to participate as my backdrop. He is a great supporter of mine and I cherish his friendship. My original Sexy shoot has now provided us with a famous couple shot!

What's something you want our readers to know that you didn't get to put on your Sexy questionnaire? I am well-rounded with many talents and not just a face. I qualified and received my NHRA drag racer license last year in a full dragster; I compete in a streetbike racing series every year; I also compete in 3 Day Horse Trials with my horse that I trained (same sport as the Olympic equestrian riders); I shoot guns; I am a full-time student; I work on cars; I founded my own motorsport clothing line; and I am a fitness and health guru. Wow, that sounds like a major run-on sentence-filled online dating ad.

What advice do you have for next year's winners? Be yourself. Enjoy the opportunity at hand and use this as an opportunity to meet some new people. And remember: "You can stand tall without standing on someone. You can be a victor without having victims." -- Harriet Woods
